FVWWC Introduces SIGs
(Special Interest Groups)

New for 2008 are our first ever SIGs, one each for those partial to a Shopsmith and/or the use of Hand Tools.
A Special Interest Group is a time set aside when members who share a particular machine, like the Shopsmith, or area of endeavor, like collecting/using Hand Tools, can get together and talk shop.
Attending a SIG is also a fast track way to learn from fellow members who bring their experiences to share.
There is no change for FVWWC members who want to participate.  Just show up and join the conversation.
For now our SIGs will be meeting at Bethany Lutheran on the same night as our regular meetings, to gauge the level of interest and see how many folks attend. As time and interest level dictates, other meeting times and places will be discusses and arranged.
If you have an area of interest in which you would like to host or assist in hosting a Special Interest Group, let us know.  We are always open to ideas.
