Shopsmith “Mini” Mark V’s & More!
I have specialized in making these Mini Mark V’s as well as buy/sell & repair/refurbish Shopsmiths. I have 3 Mini's for sale currently. Your choice of either gray, gold, or original "greenie" Shopsmith Mini Mark V machines. These are great to run any of the Shopsmith accessories except the planer which will not fit. This is 1/2 the size of the Mark V so much easier to move around and also the main Mark V can be freed up or left alone for other work. The mini's have advantages over the Shopsmith Power Station because they have the full speed range from the headstock the power station does not and can drive certain accessories from each end (see pictures for example).

Here is a brief for work done on each one:
All were disassembled & cleaned including the quill advance & parts checked for wear or due for replacement. Also all have power cords replaced & grounded properly so the 3rd grounding plug is connected for safety.
- Gray- checked bearings- all good, replaced drive belt, fresh paint.
- Greenie- new outer drive bearing & good used inner, replaced idler bearing with good used one from one of my minis I upgraded. The other bearings were good. Motor bearings recently replaced last year.
- Goldie- new drive bearings, new quill bearing, new motor bearings last year. New drive belt. Other bearings good, new paint. Previous owner added electrical junction box with outlet & on/off switch- the original switch does not function.
All 3 were just lubricated & are ready to go. - Asking $300 each OBO.
I also have 2 sets of casters for $35 each with purchase of one of these units.
In addition to these I have some misc. Shopsmith parts: 4" extension tables, drill chuck, etc. If you are looking for something call & ask if I have it to sell.
